Sepp Walzer Fest Band was born out of the idea that a Polka band would be more fun if you added in elements of swing, pop, and rock —and a little theater. Yes, we have Lederhosen and Dirndles. Yes, we sing about Oktoberfest and beer in German, Bavarian, French, and English. We also cover songs sung by Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, and the Jackson 5.

We started as an oompah band--a few polkas, a few waltzes, and the occasional march--played on Tuba, Drums, Trumpet, Clarinets, and Euphonium. We play “Ein Prosit!” and raise our beer Steins high! And then we added “Sweet Caroline,” and “I want you back,” and “Mack the Knife” and other songs as we saw how much fun the band and the audience had!
